Job summary

US WorldMeds LLC is seeking a Cell Therapy Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Philadelphia, PA. The role oversees a manufacturing team, ensuring aseptic cell therapy operations meet cGMP standards and regulatory requirements.

You will balance production, training, and document control while coordinating with Quality and SI teams. The position requires a Bachelor degree in a related field and 3+ years in Advanced Cell Therapies within a cGMP setting, with flexibility for night/weekend

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in a cell biology, bioengineering or medical technology related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years working with Advanced Cell Therapies within a cGMP environment.
Ability to work flexible hours with some night and weekend availability.
Demonstrated GMP/GDP knowledge (21 CFR Part 210/211 & 21 CFR Part 11).
Ability to stand for long periods and lift 20 pounds.
Experience in aseptic cleanroom environments and gowning.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

Manages manufacturing staff across shifts, including performance reviews, coaching, and PTO management.
SME trainer on manufacturing operations and equipment; first-line troubleshooting support.
Performs aseptic manufacturing activities and documents data in MBR/eBRs and logbooks.
Authoring, editing, and approving documents such as SOPs, batch records, and deviations.
Involved in quality output; participates in compliance forums and GDP initiatives.
Collaborates with Quality to review OOS, deviations, and CAPAs.
Daily scheduling of manufacturing operations using electronic systems.
