Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Bothell, WA is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily production and aseptic processes for cell and gene therapy bioproduction tools in a cGMP environment.

You will lead cleanroom activities, ensure SOP compliance, train staff, monitor quality documentation, troubleshoot, and support process improvements while coordinating inventory, equipment maintenance, validation and cross‑department projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4+ years in manufacturing.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience in aseptic processing and cleanroom operations in GMP/FDA environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production and aseptic processes in a cGMP environment.
• Manage cleanroom activities and ensure SOP compliance.
• Train and develop staff; monitor quality documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment/process issues and drive improvements.

Job description

Role: Manufacturing Supervisor overseeing daily production and aseptic processes in a cGMP environment for cell and gene therapy bioproduction tools.

Responsibilities include managing cleanroom activities, ensuring SOP compliance, training and developing staff, monitoring quality documentation, troubleshooting, and supporting process improvements. Also responsible for inventory, equipment maintenance, validation, and cross-departmental projects.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years relevant experience, or equivalent, and 1+ year supervisory experience. Skills include aseptic processing, cleanroom gowning, team management, troubleshooting, and documentation. Preferred: familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma, Microsoft Office, and pharmaceutical manufacturing principles. High-value biopharma specifics: experience in GMP/fda regulated environments, cleanroom operations, and aseptic techniques.

Work setup: may require day/evening shifts, weekends, overtime, and on-call duties. Leadership in biologics or cell/gene therapy manufacturing preferred.
