Job summary

Ryder is hiring Case Pickers for Tarboro, NC, offering a 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday. You will operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and RF scanners in a safety‑driven warehouse environment.

Position pays weekly with overtime and a 2nd shift premium. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and employee discounts. Training is provided on the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
