Job summary

Vestis Corporation is seeking a diligent teammate to join our industrial laundry facility in a role focused on safe, expeditious handling of merchandise. You will stage carts, fold linens and towels, verify counts, and sort items while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. English communication is essential; shifts may include weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand training, written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Stages cart in lift table, secures safety chain, and raises the table.
• Folds linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers.
• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains).
• Verifies merchandise quantity and bundles by type; places bundles in storage bins, carts, or shelves.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and follows production best practices.
• Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.
