Job summary

Vestis® is seeking an industrial laundry associate to operate and feed washers and dryers, ensuring safety and efficiency in a busy facility. You will manage sling handling, ticketing, product loading, and moisture checks while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to work in a team environment, with good math and communication skills, and a reliable attendance record. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Check all machine safety devices before operating equipment and record on safety form.
• Load washers/dryers using slings, verify batch tickets, and stage batches for efficient processing.
• Enter weights and ticket data into system; manage sling and batch flow.
• Unload and organize items, ensure proper moisture levels, and cool items as needed.
• Identify damaged slings and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
