Job summary

Vestis® is seeking team members for its industrial laundry facility to handle merchandise safety, folding, and organization tasks. You will work as part of a team to ensure accurate processing and quality control of linens, aprons, towels, and related items.

Responsibilities include staging, folding, identifying defects, verifying quantities, and moving bundles within storage areas. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand training, written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Stages cart in lift table, secures safety chain, and raises the table.
• Folds linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers.
• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains).
• Verifies merchandise quantity and bundles by type.
• Places bundles in storage bins, carts, or shelves.
• Manoeuvres full and empty baskets.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and follows production best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
