Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of HVAC/R or Facilities Maintenance program from accredited school.
• 2 years' experience in facilities/maintenance role or similar work on HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Universal CFC Certification.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Outlook, Smartphone).
• Independent and collaborative work, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility is in a safe operating condition; conduct preventative and reactive maintenance; resolve immediate operational and building safety concerns.
• Regularly inspect and conduct preventive tests to ensure proper working condition of equipment and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair or replace failures.
• Coordinate maintenance work provided by vendor partners; inspect completed repairs for proper operation.
• Support or lead special projects related to building operations and efficiencies.
• HVAC troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• DDC troubleshooting and repair.
• Refrigeration troubleshooting and system repairs.
• Basic Building Automation use for monitoring and controls.
• Basic plumbing knowledge and repairs.
• Inspect and maintain cafe/kitchen equipment.
• Manage vendors and maintenance of elevators, fire life safety devices, UPS and other systems.
• Access Door and Overhead Door repair/adjustment.
• Obtain and compare estimates for outside vendor work.
• Ensure customer complaints are handled professionally and timely.
