Portland Public Schools is seeking a Building Custodian III, Shift Supervisor for the 2nd shift at Deering High. Under supervision, you will supervise custodians, perform cleaning and facilities maintenance, and assist the head custodian.

Work hours are Monday–Friday 2:30–11:00 PM. The position requires a high school diploma or GED; Maine fingerprint clearance is required; wage range $22.14–$28.36 per hour, with eligibility for benefits as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

• Supervises custodians and performs building cleaning and facilities maintenance.
• Assists the head custodian in completing tasks.
• May take direction from the building administrator when working alone on the day shift.
