Job summary

Eaton Corporation within ES GEIS BLD division seeks an Industrial Brake Operator for 2nd shift in Sherman, TX. The role offers an hourly rate of $22.71 plus a $1.20 shift differential per hour, with core hours Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-11:00pm and Friday 12:30pm-9:00pm.

The operator sets up and runs press brake equipment, troubleshoots issues, records data, and ensures quality and proper documentation on all parts. Emphasis on 5S, safety and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year press brake or machine operations experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate LVD Press Brake controls.
• Troubleshoot machine problems.
• ID and tag shop orders with product.
• Retrieve and enter data into the system.
• Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts.
• Maintain components and supplies to operate efficiently.
• Brake components based on print specifications.
• Perform 5S and continuous improvement activities.
