Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Press Brake Operator - 2nd Shift at our Pinckneyville, IL location. Core hours are Monday-Friday, 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Overtime may be required.

The hourly rate is $22.93 with a $0.40 shift differential. Benefits available from day one and include retirement, parental leave, educational assistance, wellness reimbursement, and more. Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a license to operate a forklift safely and responsibly.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Prior press brake operating experience preferred.
• Prior assembly experience preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run press brake for forming and/or punching operations.
• Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.
• Inspect completed workpieces for defects, utilize Workmanship Standards, document results, and complete inspection log.
• Read work orders to determine specifications.
• Test and adjust the machine using gauges and hand tools.
• Install and align punches, dies, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines using gauges, shims, and hand tools.

The core hours are Monday-Friday, 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $22.93 per hour with a $0.40 per hour shift differential.

What You’ll Do

• Run press brake for forming and/or punching operations.
• Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.
• Inspect completed workpieces for defects, utilize Workmanship Standards, accurately document results, and complete inspection log.

Basic Qualifications
