Job summary

Newly Weds Foods in Gerald, MO is seeking a detail-oriented Blender Operator to operate and maintain the blender, processing raw ingredients to produce dry food blends on a full-time 2nd shift.

You will report to the Production Supervisor and collaborate with a small team to ensure safe, efficient production, strict SOP adherence, and timely quality checks. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating food processing equipment, preferably a blender.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Basic math skills and ability to measure and weigh ingredients.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate the blender machine per SOPs.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure blend consistency.
• Weigh and measure ingredients before loading into the blender.
• Maintain production and inventory records.
• Perform quality checks on blends.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and keep the work area clean.
• Communicate with team and supervisors.
• Assist with other production tasks.
