Job summary

Ferring Pharmaceuticals in Parsippany, NJ seeks a Process Equipment Technician for the 2nd shift to maintain and repair production equipment. You will coordinate through maintenance schedules, support line changeovers, and assist engineering on installations in a regulated biopharma setting.

Qualifications

• Technical training or degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience in biotech manufacturing, GMP facility and/or ISO 13485 preferred.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance documentation.
• Experience reading mechanical, electrical, and P&IDs.
• Willingness to work weekends/off-shifts and various shifts including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for the 2nd shift team, performing maintenance on production equipment.
• Identify issues, propose solutions, and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Prepare detailed repair logs and reports for management and shifts.
• Conduct line changeovers and set-ups per production schedule.
• Assist Engineering with equipment installations and modifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections (oil, lubrication, checks).
• Coordinate maintenance with vendors and allocate resources to maximize output.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality guidelines across shifts.
