Job summary

Eaton is hiring for an Assembler I (2nd Shift) in the Seismic division. The role involves bench assembly, basic fastening, order picking, and supporting LEAN initiatives. Shift hours are 2:30 PM to 11 PM with a $20.47/hour base rate plus a $0.50 shift differential.

Qualified candidates will perform tasks under close supervision, maintain clean work areas, and adhere to PPE and safety requirements. Relocation benefits are not offered and a 50-mile residency rule applies.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format in English.
• Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
• Require fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components.
• May use bolts, screws, clips and other fastening devices.
• Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams.
• Pick, pack and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
• Keeps work areas clean and safe.
• Supports all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including: maintain 5-S, track visual management tools, encourage Kaizen improvements.
