Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc in Alamo, TN is seeking a Saw Operator to join the Machine Shop team on 2nd shift. You will operate Behringer saws to cut bar stock, slugs, CT tubes and other materials, producing parts per drawings.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred technical certification; experience with SAP, forklifts and overhead cranes is a plus. You will work in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree or technical certification preferred.
• Flexible, team oriented and self-directed to ensure on time delivery out of the department.
• Basic working knowledge of computers and SAP preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate transactions in SAP following inventory procedures.
• Order material using on-site material management programs.
• Safe transport and storage of all raw materials in the machine shop, utilizing overhead crane and fork-lift.
• Follow strict adherence of CCL guidelines at the saws.
• Experience operating Behringer saw or similar machines.
• Overhead crane experience (rigging and operation).
• Able to produce parts as detailed on drawings.
