Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a Saw Operator to join its Machine Shop team. You will operate the Behringer saws to cut bar stock, slugs, CT tubes and other materials, while performing SAP transactions for inventory control and material management.

The role requires basic computer skills, experience with overhead cranes, and the ability to read drawings to produce parts as specified. On-site, full-time position in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates/technical cert preferred.
• Experience operating Behringer saw or similar machines is expected.
• Basic computer knowledge and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Behringer saws to cut bar stock, slugs, CT tubes and other materials.
• Perform transactions in SAP in accordance with inventory procedures.
• Order material using on-site material management systems.
• Safely transport and store raw materials; use overhead crane and forklift.
• Follow CCL guidelines at the saws.
• Ensure parts are produced as per drawings.
