Position Summary: The Pre-Weigh/Batching Operator is responsible for accurately measuring, weighing, and preparing raw ingredients in accordance with production formulas and schedules. This role ensures all ingredients are staged and ready for processing while maintaining strict adherence to food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Description of Duties:

• Accurately weigh and measure raw ingredients according to batch sheets, formulas, and production orders
• Prepare and stage ingredients for production lines in a timely manner
• Verify ingredient identity, lot numbers, and expiration dates before use
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, and food safety protocols at all times
• Maintain proper documentation of weights, ingredient usage, and batch records
• Operate scales, measuring equipment, and related batching tools
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or quality issues to the supervisor immediately
• Assist with inventory control, including material handling and stock rotation (FIFO)
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and efficiency efforts
• Collaborate with production, quality, and warehouse teams to meet production goals
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:
