Job summary

Cenveo is seeking a Baler Operator at its Mt. Pleasant, PA facility. The role involves operating a baler to compress waste paper and maintain safety and accuracy in weighing and documenting bales.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of manufacturing/shipping experience, with basic math and communication skills, and the ability to obtain material handling equipment certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Shipping experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (1+ year).
• Basic written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work at a rapid pace and basic math skills required.
• Must be able to become certified to operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate baler and fill baler with waste paper and tie off bales.
• Segregate colors and grades of paper.
• Transport bales to the scale using a forklift.
• Weigh bales and record weight, bale type and ticket number; file and submit documentation.
• Move bales to storage or load onto a trailer and record the number of bales loaded.
