Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America in Oxford, PA is hiring a 2nd shift baler operator to support our new facility. The role pays $25.16 per hour and includes full benefits, competitive overtime, and a strong safety culture.

You will manage baler operations, coordinate with the Shredder team, maintain clean work areas, and document routine checks to ensure quality and accurate reporting. PCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Lift truck certification/ability to operate.
• Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
• Good attendance record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
• Willing to work any shift including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Check waste carts and loads for correct waste tag information with signatures.
• Help keep a clean work environment for safety reasons.
• Communicate with the Operator on Baler and Shredder performance, while exchanging information to the incoming Operator.
• Document any movement and perform a checklist of baler and shredder machines prior to start up.
• Communicate issues or restraints to the Supervisor.
• Weigh and spray paint all good dunnage for identification and complete documentation needed for accurate accounting.
• Complete the soak and pin test to get familiar with the quality processes of the corrugator.
