Job summary

Cenveo is seeking a Baler for its Mt. Pleasant, PA facility. The role operates a baler to compress waste paper and prepares bales for shipment, with responsibilities including loading, weighing, and recording bale data.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent, at least six months of manufacturing experience, and the ability to work at a rapid pace in a noisy environment. Training will certify operation of material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months minimum manufacturing experience.
• Preferred one+ year shipping experience in manufacturing.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work at a rapid pace.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be able to become certified to operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate baler by filling baler with waste paper and tying off bales.
• Segregate colors and grades of paper.
• Transport bales to the scale by operating the fork truck.
• Weigh bales and record weight, type of bale and ticket number.
• Move the bale to storage or load into trailer and record numbers.
