Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in Wayland, MI is seeking a Bag Line Operator to support the production team on the 2nd shift (4pm–12am). You will operate the bagging line, run the labeler, checkweigher and robot stacker, and ensure the line runs smoothly while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This full-time role requires following GMPs, SOPs, and HACCP guidelines, keeping records, and collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and read process documents.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Commitment to food safety and GMP/SOP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate bagger system and maintain it to sustain production.
• Run labeler, checkweigher, and robot bag stacker.
• Inspect, clean, start-up/shut down, and adjust equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment to keep production on schedule.
• Keep materials stocked and manage material handling equipment.
• Assist in training other team members when required.
• Read production schedules and supply components without interruption.
• Maintain accurate, legible records and meet quality standards.
