Job summary

AM General in Mishawaka, IN is hiring Production Employees to support HMWWV and JLTV A2 production. Hourly roles are represented by the UAW and offer a comprehensive benefits package as part of the workforce.

New hires start at $19.25 per hour and may work on 1st and 2nd shifts. Qualifying candidates will undergo a drug screen and background check before employment begins, with the possibility of training on the 5:00 AM–1:30 PM shift and transition to the 1:30 PM–10:00 PM shift.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow standardized work and job instructions.
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Paint Sprayer application experience preferred.
• Must be able to work on a contract basis for the first 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare surface for paint application.
• Apply paint to surface using sprayers.
• Repair paint defects as needed with spray, brushes or foam applicators.
• Confirm quality of work performed.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment safely in the facility.
