Job summary

AM General in Mishawaka, IN is hiring Production Employees to support HMWWV and JLTV A2 production lines. Hourly staff are represented by the UAW, and the company emphasizes safety and craftsmanship in a team environment.

Primary duties include inspecting and preparing surfaces, applying paint with sprayers, repairing defects as needed, and ensuring quality while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. You may transfer between first and second shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow standardized work and job instructions.
• Paint Sprayer application experience preferred.
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Must be able to train on 1st shift (5am-1:30pm) then move to 2nd shift (1:30pm-10:00pm).
• Must have reliable work history.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Confirm quality of work performed.
• Technical capacity to run equipment within the facility.
