Job summary

Morgan Truck Body in Morgantown, PA is seeking a hands-on Automotive Painter (2nd Shift) to transform raw builds into finished road-ready trucks. You’ll prep surfaces, apply high-quality finishes, and ensure adherence to customer specs using cup guns, spray systems, and traditional tools.

We offer competitive pay with a $2.50 shift differential and on-demand pay options. This role emphasizes safety, accurate measurement, blueprint interpretation, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Strong with numbers and able to read measurements accurately.
• Tech-ready with basic computer skills to support workflow and documentation.
• Familiar with common paint tools and their proper use.
• Measurement-minded and able to apply measurements precisely throughout the job.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints for paint applications and finishes.

Responsibilities

• Paint full truck bodies and chassis with high-quality finishes as specified.
• Operate cup gun, pressure pot, plural system, and airless sprayer with proficiency.
• Apply a variety of colors and finishes with accuracy, meeting specs.
• Read blueprints and work orders to ensure prep-to-finish precision.
• Set up and perform preventative maintenance on paint tools and equipment.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and quality in daily tasks.
