Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation in Phillipsburg, NJ, seeks a 2nd Shift Lead Automation Technician. The role focuses on PLC-based control systems, troubleshooting, and coordinating maintenance escalations for uptime and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is local, mechanically inclined, with PLC experience, and ready to work 5:00 PM–2:00 AM Monday–Friday, leading a small team and supporting site operations.

• Must be local to Phillipsburg, NJ.
• Hands-on PLC experience.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Willing to work 5:00PM-2:00AM Monday-Friday.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot and maintain material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and Ethernet/fieldbus networks.
• Provide first level escalation support for maintenance teams and coordinate with vendors/headquarters for downtime resolution.
• Monitor facility performance metrics and collaborate with operations to optimize system effectiveness.
• Plan and coordinate new technology installations with vendors, and act as technical consultant for capital projects.
• Train CSTs on controls concepts and ensure cross-functional knowledge sharing.
