Job summary

Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking an Automation Technician to join our New Richmond, WI team on the second shift (3pm–11pm). You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment, and support electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, controls, and robotic systems to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Experience with electrical and pneumatic systems and basic mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing and assembly equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, controls, sensor, HMI, PLC, servo, and robotic system issues.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics, drawings, manuals, and other documentation.
• Use test equipment to identify faults and determine corrective actions.
• Assist with installation, setup, commissioning, and modification of equipment.
• Support root-cause investigations for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, uptime, cycle time, and performance.
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment history in CMMS.
