Carter Express/Carter Logistics is seeking an Assistant Crossdock Manager in Laredo, TX. You will assist in planning and directing crossdock operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and KPIs are met.

The role requires coordinating multiple departments, leading teams, and driving improvements across shifts. The position emphasizes strong problem-solving, collaboration with managers, and adherence to customer standards while maintaining safe, efficient operations.

Competenze

• College degree in business administration, commerce, management, industrial technology, or industrial engineering are strongly preferred.
• 3+ years in management, preferably in high-volume material handling.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving operations preferred.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and ability to apply it to improve processes.

Mansioni

• Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating internal Crossdock operations.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and KPIs are tracked and reported.
• Coordinate, monitor, and manage multiple departments to meet customer standards.
• Lead and communicate with managers, team leaders and staff to resolve issues.
• Plan manpower to maintain efficient operations and respond to changing needs.
• Support development of policies and procedures and ensure adherence.
