Generac Power Systems in Wisconsin is seeking assemblers for the 2nd shift to join our production team. You will follow work instructions, validate materials, and assemble products to spec while upholding safety and quality standards.

Roles ASSEMBLY I–III involve repetitive tasks with room to grow, training others, and contributing to process improvements. We offer competitive hourly pay including shift premium and a strong commitment to equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

  • ASSEMBLY I: ability to perform highly repetitive assembly tasks.
  • ASSEMBLY II: high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of complex assembly or related experience.
  • ASSEMBLY III: high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of complex assembly or related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Use work instructions, drawings and schematics to assemble products to specifications and safety standards.
  • Resolve problems with peers or supervisor depending on level of complexity.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to equipment, designs and processes for safety, quality and productivity.
  • Cross-train in multiple assembly areas and flex to other departments as needed.
  • Provide training to new and current employees on work instructions and standard work.
  • Develop understanding of products and how they impact the business.
  • Pursue continuous learning as processes change.
