Job summary

Toshiba America Energy Systems Corporation (TAES) seeks a 2nd shift Assembly Technician to support our Milwaukee Service Center. The role involves disassembling, refurbishing, manufacturing, winding and reassembling large generation equipment under supervision of experienced technicians.

Qualifications include 0–2 years in a service shop, trade schooling preferred, and ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools. Travel for field service is possible but not required.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a service shop environment.
• Trade schooling preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude to perform basic disassembly and assembly.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools like scales and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in disassembly and assembly of mechanical or electrical equipment using hand/power tools.
• Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Operate safety practices and follow company policies.
• Assist with crane and forklift operations as required (jibs, overhead cranes, sit-down/stand-up forklifts).
• Support production needs, including extended weekday and weekend hours.
