Job summary

Lindsay Corporation in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a General Assembly Technician to support mass production of metal products on the 2nd shift. You will perform repetitive bench or line assembly, read blueprints and diagrams, and cooperate with team members to ensure quality and timely output.

Responsibilities include operating presses, assembling components by hand, handling material movement with forklifts, and following safety rules to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Must read a tape measure and blueprints.
• Familiar with caliper gauges and computers.
• Must be familiar with hand tools – drills, screwdrivers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Operate drill presses, punch presses or riveting machines to assist in assembly.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, specs and work orders to determine materials and instructions.
• Assemble bundles and wheel assemblies, package smaller kits, and move materials as needed.
