Job summary

Lindsay Corporation is seeking a General Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will perform bench or line assembly of metal products, read schematics and blueprints, and use drills, presses, and hand tools to build components for motors, wheel assemblies, and hydraulic cylinders.

Ideal candidates read tape measures and calipers, work with minimal supervision, and can handle overtime and weekend shifts as required. We offer comprehensive benefits and a safety‑driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Must read a tape measure and blueprints.
• Familiar with caliper gauges and common hand tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operates presses and riveting machines to perform fastening operations.
• Assembles bundles and wheel assemblies by hand.
• Removes excess material with hand files to ensure a close fit.
• Reads schematics and work orders to determine materials and instructions.
• Operates equipment and handles shipments; overtime as required.
