Job summary

Control Panels USA is seeking Assembly Technicians to join our growing team. You will lay out, assemble, and wire electrical control panels and relay racks, using hand and power tools.

The role requires 2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience and the ability to read schematics. Electrical theory knowledge is a plus and training is provided. The schedule is M-F 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of electrical theory or electrical assembly is a plus (can be taught).
• Ability to read schematics is a plus (can be taught).
• High School Diploma / GED is required.
• Looking for a long-term position.
• Detail-oriented with high quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components using hand and power tools.
• Cut and connect cables and/or wires to panels.
• Label wires and components and install identification labels on panel boxes.
• Install company name plates and identification tags.
• Measure parts to determine tolerances with measuring instruments.
• Aid with inspecting, testing, adjusting issues to meet specifications.
• Study and read schematics to diagnose issues with drawings and panel functionality.

Our regular work schedule is M-F 3:00 pm -11:30 pm with some overtime opportunities as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assembling parts and components using hand and power tools.
• Cut and connect cables and/or wires to panels.
• Label wires and components as well as install tags and associated labels on the panel boxes.
• Install company name plates and any identification labels and/or tags.
• Measure parts to determine tolerances, using measuring instruments
• Aid with inspecting, testing, point to point, adjusting and correcting issues found in testing to ensure units meet specifications, tolerances and customer requirements.
• Study and learn to read schematics in order to diagnose issues with drawings and functionality of the panels.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of electrical theory and/or electrical assembly is a plus, but we can teach this
• The ability to read schematics is a plus, but we can teach this
• High School Diploma / GED

Physical Requirements:
