Job summary

Alfa Laval in the United States is seeking a production assembler for the gasket plate heat exchanger on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM). You will assemble products using diagrams, blueprints, and SOPs, while performing quality checks and documenting production data.

You will receive daily assignments from the Team Leader, report deviations, and participate in 5S, KAIZEN, and cross-training initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Quality checks and adherence to quality standards.
• Ability to document production data clearly and accurately.
• Familiarity with SOPs and blueprints for assembly.
• Willingness to work in a team and rotate tasks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control: Inspect work for defects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Documentation: Complete production forms, reports, and record assembly data.
• Receive daily work assignments and execute production with SOPs and blueprints.
• Report deviations to status boards and update leaders.
• Participate in Daily Status Meetings and suggest improvements.
• Review and suggest improvements for SOPs.
• Identify waste and drive KAIZEN improvements.
• Engage in 5S routines to sustain high standards.
• Seek cross-training opportunities and assist teammates.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items.
