Job summary

Silk Road Technologies Canada in Greenville, SC seeks a 2nd Shift Assembly Team Lead to guide a launch-phase production team, drive performance, and ensure smooth line operations.

You will create work instructions, train operators, uphold safety and 6S, monitor OEE, and coordinate with engineers and supervisors while maintaining accurate production records. This hands-on leadership role requires strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility to handle overtime and shift coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with launch readiness: create work instructions and train operators.
• Assist Plant Project Engineer with launch-related activities.
• Ensure plant safety procedures are known and followed.
• Maintain 6S standards and coordinate 6S responsibilities.
• Monitor and report downtime, OEE, and scrap; provide feedback for evaluations.
• Run machine as part of normal team rotation.
• Coordinate training of non-experienced colleagues and maintain training docs.
• Perform weekly audits such as 5S/LPA audits.
