Job summary

Impact Workforce Solutions is seeking an qualified Production Team Lead to supervise assembly and manufacturing operations in West Point, GA on the 2nd shift (6:30pm–6:00am). The role emphasizes safety, quality, cost control, and on-time delivery while maintaining a positive work environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant manufacturing or production experience, previous assembly leadership, and strong communication skills to train and coach team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of relevant manufacturing or production experience.
• Previous assembly experience is required.
• Previous experience leading, training, or directing production employees.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally and in writing, to support safe operations, teamwork, training, and accurate execution of job duties.
• Ability to identify problems, take initiative, and help implement solutions.
• Ability to work required overtime based on production needs.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction and support to production team members.
• Monitor production operations and help maintain efficient workflow.
• Train new and existing employees and maintain required training documentation.
• Verify that team members are properly trained to perform assigned work.
• Help the team achieve established safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Identify production obstacles and work with leadership to resolve issues.
• Recommend improvements to production processes, workflow, and team performance.
• Ensure team members follow established company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
• Partner with IWS Operations Manager to address employee concerns, conflicts, performance issues, and disciplinary matters as appropriate.
