Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking an Assembler Team Lead - 2nd Shift at our Oakleys Ct site in Richmond, VA. The role pays $26.00 an hour plus a $2 shift differential.

Core hours are 3:30pm - 12:00am with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires. Benefits include health, vacation time, paid holidays, and retirement programs.

You will lead production, support safety, monitor quality, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Live within 50 miles of Richmond, VA (no relocation).

Responsibilities

• Lead operators and assist to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Monitor project progress on the production floor to ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide feedback to management to maintain a safe, harmonious, productive work environment.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and presentable.
• Demonstrate and enforce safety, attendance and punctuality guidelines.
• Maintain Visual Management boards and perform 6S audits.
• Communicate shift status to Production Management and Supervisors.
• Support continuous improvement in assigned areas.
