Job summary

nVent is seeking entry level and skilled Assembly Operators for the 2nd shift in Minnesota. The role involves assembling, packaging and paint preparation of products, following detailed work instructions and blueprints. Overtime opportunities are available and pay starts up to $20.75 per hour.

You will operate a variety of tools, maintain 5S standards, and collaborate with team members to meet production schedules while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints.
• Experience in assembling mechanical parts into a finished product.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Prefer knowledge of scales and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, kit, prepare, label, and package products per work instructions.
• Complete tasks based on specifications and routings.
• Move production materials as required and maintain records.
• Ensure safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Keep area clean and organized following 5S standards.
• Rotate assignments and participate in continuous improvement.
