Job summary

nVent is seeking entrants for entry level and skilled Assembly Operators on 1st shift. You will perform assembly, packaging, and paint preparation duties to support production. Starting hourly pay is up to $20.75+ with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge in use of scales preferred.
• Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints preferred.
• Experience assembling mechanical parts into finished products preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools preferred.
• Experience in a light industrial facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, kit, prepare, label, and/or package products per Work Instructions.
• Complete work based on specifications, drawings, and routings.
• Move production materials as required.
• Maintain equipment and materials for operation.
• Follow safety, quality, and 5S standards.
• Record information on Manufacturing Orders and maintain inventory records.
• Escalate safety or quality issues per procedures.
• Keep a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Rotate assignments as needed and participate in continuous improvement.
