Job summary

Great Northern Corporation is seeking a Weekend Shift Assembly Fulfillment Coordinator to optimize product assembly and set line-up. You will assign tasks and provide instructions for the assembly/fulfillment line, ensuring safety and efficiency.

You will lead and develop staff, monitor quality, and coordinate with management to resolve issues while maintaining a fast-moving, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read English and interpret documents (safety rules, manuals, specs).
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read a ruler to 1/16 inch.
• Mechanical and spatial aptitude.
• Ability to lead and develop employees.
• Bilingual in Spanish or Hmong preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees employees, machinery, or equipment in Fulfillment Department and informs management of issues and preventive actions.
• Assist Assembly and Fulfillment Managers with personnel tasks and enforce company rules.
• Work from complex process specifications and adhere to safety rules and guidelines.
• Select, install, and set up assembly lines and provide work direction as needed.
• Manage material flow and observe lines for defects, adjusting processes to meet specs.
• Perform standard machine maintenance, inventory transactions, and participate in trainings.
