Job summary

Stryker Corporation is hiring for a 2nd shift assembler in Portage, MI. You will assemble components, sub-assemblies, and electrical parts, using tools and test procedures to ensure quality. Expect a hands-on role with adherence to schedules and safety protocols.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and may involve OT on Saturdays. Onsite work with shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm and a $2.00 shift premium plus bonus eligibility and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies per work instructions.
• Prepare and process electrical and mechanical parts for product lines.
• Follow test procedures and document results to meet quality standards.
• Maintain line setup, cleanup, and safety in own work area.
• Meet production schedules and required cycle times.
• Operate various hand tools, test equipment, and measuring devices.
