Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Kalamazoo, MI, is seeking an Assembly Technician I to assemble mechanical units, parts and electrical components using hand and power tools. You will work from instructions to complete subassemblies and final units, ensuring quality and proper documentation.

The role offers an onsite 1st shift schedule (Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm) with potential overtime based on production needs. $20.25 per hour plus bonus eligibility and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions and use basic measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts and electronic systems.
• Use hand and power tools, jigs and fixtures to build subassemblies and completed units.
• Follow process work instructions and test procedures; monitor documentation.
• Maintain quality and meet production cycle times and schedules.
• Prepare products for shipment and ensure correct packaging per specs.
• Be responsible for setup, cleanup and workspace organization; work overtime as needed.
