Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a 2nd Shift Assembler in Santa Ana, CA. The role focuses on high-volume mechanical and electronic assembly in a defense-related production environment, with potential relocation to Ohio later this year.

You will build and test components, read blueprints, and support a fast-paced production line aiming for 5,000 units monthly. Responsibilities include assembling mechanical parts, wiring, testing with multimeters and scopes, conducting QA checks, and documenting test results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing setting, ideally aerospace/electronics/medical.
• Able to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics and follow detailed instructions.
• Proficient with hand and power tools listed in the job description.
• Know basic electrical components and their functions within assemblies.
• Experience with PCBA or electronic box assembly troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive mechanical assemblies to meet targets up to 5,000 units per month.
• Assemble wire harnesses, racks, junction boxes and related components; use hand tools and test equipment.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to complete assemblies accurately.
• Perform inspections and quality checks to ensure specs.
• Test electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and racks.
