Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking an Aerospace/Military Mechanical Assembler in Santa Ana, CA for a first shift (6am–2:30pm) with 2nd shift also available. Contract to hire, onsite facility, aiming to produce 5000 units monthly in a high-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
  • Proficient computer skills, including standard browser use and word processing applications.
  • Working knowledge of common electrical components.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
  • Capability to adapt rapidly in a high-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assemblies in a manufacturing setting, preferably within aerospace, electronics, or medical industries.
  • Utilize common hand tools and power tools, including pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, multimeters, and specialized test equipment.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering and production teams both verbally and in writing.
  • Conduct validation and testing of electronic components using equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
  • Assemble high-quality wire harnesses, test racks, junction boxes, and associated components, involving hand soldering and component fabrication.
  • Troubleshoot electronic box assemblies and write detailed issue tickets for failures.
  • Perform functional checkouts and tests, diagnosing any issues discovered during these processes.
  • Integrate and test RF systems.

Job Description

We are seeking skilled mechanical assemblers for a military and defense facility located in Santa Ana, CA. This role is for the 1st shift, running from 6am to 2:30pm. 2nd Shift is also available! The position involves repetitive tasks and a goal of producing 5000 units per month, making it a high-paced production environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
