Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring a 2nd shift Assembler in Martin, TN. The role focuses on production duties, setting up workstations, supporting changeovers, and applying Lean and ISO procedures.

You’ll inspect work-in-process and finished parts and use gauges to ensure quality, while collaborating with a team in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include lifting up to 30 lbs, using hand tools and air guns, troubleshooting, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Able to use hand tools and air guns as required.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to interact with people effectively.
• Knowledge of ISO and Lean Manufacturing Standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Production duties as assigned by Team Coach and Team Leader.
• Set up workstation and support changeovers.
• Assist in Lean procedures and continuous improvement.
• Visually inspect work in process and finished product.
• Check processes and finished parts using fixtures and gauges.
• Follow ISO, quality, safety standards and company procedures.
• Highlight concerns and identify opportunities for improvement.
