Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is assisting a manufacturing client in Endicott, NY to hire Assemblers for the production team. You will read blueprints, follow work instructions, and assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components using hand and power tools to meet stringent quality standards.

You’ll work 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm) with training on 1st shift and occasional Saturdays. A strong attention to detail, reliability, and hands-on mechanical aptitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Mechanical abilities and comfort working with tools used in assembly and production environments.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical instructions (blueprint reading is a plus).
• Experience or familiarity with soldering, wiring, crimping, and/or gluing in a production setting.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure assemblies meet requirements.
• Reliability and readiness to work the assigned shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Assemble components accurately using hand tools and power tools while following established procedures.
• Perform soldering, wiring, crimping, and gluing as required by the assembly process.
• Support consistent production by completing assigned builds to specification and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and handle materials and tools responsibly.
