Job summary

FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician for 2nd shift in North Kingstown, RI. The role involves performing functional testing on high-purity chemical products used in semiconductor manufacturing and recording data in the LIMS system.

The successful candidate will participate in evaluating new test procedures, monitoring instruments via SPC, and supporting cross-functional teams while adhering to safety guidelines in a dynamic laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Chemical Technology or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of technical laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control is a plus.
• Experience with trace metal instrumentation is a plus.
• Must wear a respirator.
• Proficient computer skills and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing on samples using SOPs for production, engineering and R&D.
• Accurately record all data into the LIMS system.
• Assist in the transfer/evaluation of new products and test procedures via gauge studies.
• Monitor instruments through Statistical Process Control.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
