Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. You’ll perform mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical/hydraulic and pneumatic issues, and inspect aircraft components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license is required at certain levels (AMT I–IV).
• Strong English communication and FAA safety/compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and solve aircraft system issues (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Inspect aircraft and components for airworthiness; assist in performance runs and taxiing.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling; navigate electronic training materials.
