Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. in Albany, MO is hiring a Class II AHU Fabricator for the 2nd shift on a full-time basis. The role requires aligning BOM, installing components per specs, preparing units for painting and shipment, and reading blueprints to select proper parts.

Responsibilities include using hand tools, operating a bridge crane, and performing basic maintenance while maintaining safety standards. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with forklift experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints and build plans (preferred).
• Previous experience in an industrial setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Match BOM and install components securely per spec.
• Prepare product for painting and shipping.
• Assemble per specification for HVAC units and read specs/blueprints to identify parts.
• Use rivet gun, air gun, knife, welding and other hand tools.
• Operate bridge crane or hoist shipments to storage/work area.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Adhere to production schedule and safety standards.
