Job summary

Industrial Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Assembler/Fabricator for Albany, MO. You will read specs and blueprints, assemble parts to precise standards, install hardware, and insulate panels according to documented procedures.

You will use rivet guns, air guns, knives, welding equipment, and other tools, while following safety rules and shop paperwork. Forklift operation is required and proper licensing must be on file.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, shop-floor paperwork, and procedure manuals.
• Math ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Reasoning ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and solve problems.
• Basic computer skills required; operator must be licensed by the Company before operating the forklift.

Responsibilities

• Read specification sheets and blueprints to identify proper parts and complete assemblies to requirements.
• Assemble parts to specification, ensuring accuracy and consistency across builds.
• Install hardware and other purchased parts into assemblies per specification.
• Insulate panels as described on the specification sheet and complete required shop-floor paperwork.
• Use tools such as rivet guns, air guns, knives, welding equipment, and other hand tools to perform fabrication tasks; assist others as needed and move shipments using a bridge crane or hoist when required.
