Job summary

SpaceX's Starbase, Texas site seeks a Development Test Technician on 2nd shift to lead hands-on testing and integration of aerospace test equipment. You will fabricate fluid panels, install instrumentation, and troubleshoot complex hydraulic and data systems in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 3+ years of experience with mechanical, fluid, instrumentation, data/control systems, or test operations.
• Ability to read planning documents, schematics, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on testing and integration of test equipment.
• Fabricate hydraulic manifolds, panels, and instrumentation routing.
• Install instrumentation, harnessing, and troubleshoot wiring.
• Operate and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and actuators.
• Configure high-pressure, hazardous, and cryogenic fluid systems.
• Rig test articles and manage crane operations.
• Develop data and control system infrastructure for test stands.
• Maintain and calibrate instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
