Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking 2nd Shift Aerosol Line Operators (Shift Differential) with a $1,000 sign-on bonus. You will fill production batches into aerosol containers, set up equipment, and monitor counts and fill rates.

Experience is not required, but basic math, reading, and mechanical skills are helpful. Works on a production line in a paint manufacturing facility with standard safety practices.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and machine repair skills
• Prior Aerosol Line Attendant knowledge preferred

GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible for filling production batches into aerosol containers as indicated on batch tickets. Performs routine maintenance and makes mechanical or electrical adjustments or repairs to production line machines as needed.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Locate proper product and filling items such as cans, lids, labels, etc. to fill aerosol containers per batch ticket instructions.
• Set up all equipment on filling line and make changeovers for filling new batch ticket orders.
• Review finished order for final counts on product and fill rates.
• Maintain neat and orderly work area.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to determine correct processes regarding standard aerosol filling procedures as instructed in initial training.
• Ability to determine and make basic mechanical adjustments and know when additional assistance is needed.
• The ability to work without continuous supervision and complete assigned projects.
